Getting some shut eye is a great way to prevent headaches. About seven to eight hours of sleep is recommended. Remember, it takes two months for a habit to form, so get your sleep on. If you’re a night owl, maybe for Monday try to go to bed at 12 a.m. and for the next day aim your bedtime at 11 p.m. Next thing you know you will be in bed by 9:30! It’s worth a try! What you consume on the daily can trigger your headaches. Processed foods like nuts, preservatives, chocolate, lunch meat and milk products can be the reason you are getting the headaches. Eating fruits and vegetables can definitely prevent headaches. Vegetables like broccoli, cabbage and spinach should be your best friend. They all have vitamin B in them, which fights headaches. Little changes like adding some veggies to your favorite dish can help prevent headaches. Can’t forget about the liquids! Drinking eight glasses of water a day is beneficial as well.
